Hope - Gaurangi Rastogi

Please read The Little Book of Values:
Educating Children to become Thinking, Responsible and Caring Citizens.

People talk about hope whenever you are stuck in a difficult situation.

But what is hope? Sometimes this question clicks my mind. It is a step that motivates you to reach your destination or aim to be achieved.

Recently, I travelled to 'Char Dham Yatra'. Which is enjoyable. When I saw the track, I felt disappointed. It was a tiring journey, but something inside kept my excitement alive.

I think that's hope!

Hope never lets your aspirations or dreams die. It keeps it alive in your heart. Some examples of maintaining hope in my daily life:

Hope of mummy making something good in Lunch.

Hope that my family to bring surprises on my birthday

Hope of going to park and cycle 3 rounds without stopping.

Poem for my mother - Arav Agarwal

This poem is dedicated to my Mother on Mother's day. Our Mothers are like role models in daily life. They nurture us, support us in everything we do and selflessly work to see us happy.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers.

Thank you, mom, for doing so much for me;
You always make sure that I have a feeling of glee!

I love spending time with you;
You always taught me the value of being true!

Thank you so much again for supporting me in the journey of sports and studies till now;
For me, you are the leading example to whom I can bow!

Online to Offline School: A Journey for the young - Aanya Kumar

The last two years have been a setback for everyone. Suddenly everything was shut down. However, no one can compare the hardships students and teachers faced during the pandemic to anything else. Some students took advantage of this by either skipping some classes or cheating on exams. Some people were still loyal and truthful towards the school and themselves.

The first year was skimmed through. The second year made everyone miss the school bus honking near their buildings. As offline school has resumed, students face issues regarding waking up on time for school. However, students can interact more with their teachers. Of course, we also missed talking to our friends during the online schooling.

The reprimands of teachers were something our ears had been waiting for. Muting and unmuting were complicated, and now we can speak whenever we want. So, this phase of students' hearts being broken and then put together again was a complicated but exciting journey.

My School's Birthday - Anvesha Rana

 We all may be a different fish, but at Gyanshree School, we all swim together!

Today, April 15, is the day when Gyanshree was born. As our school completes its 9 years of excellence, we all celebrate its Founders Day. The School that started in 2014 with a fixed vision and mission is today a place where all children love to go.

The vision of Gyanshree school was to prepare each student for a rapidly changing world by equipping them with critical thinking skills, a global perspective and respect for core values and the mission of the school was to ensure 'Effortless and Meaningful' learning. The qualities are inhabited by the teachers and the many students, who respect the school and share its spirit among themselves.

As Gyanshree enters its 10th academic year, the school continues to excel and reach new heights. I have seen the school's growth from an early stage to what it is now, and the credit goes to every person associated with the school. So, Happy Birthday, Gyanshree!

Autobiography of a jacket: Part Two - Rishona Chopra

 In the previous part, we read about Jacket, who has gone through surgery and his friend Coat, who has gone on a journey to find true happiness.

I, Coat, am now in the Himalayas, near Mount Everest. I am feeling freezing. Luckily I have worn a few layers, but it is still freezing! I think,' where am I now? I was fine, okay with a jacket and my owners. This place is so cold! I've been through a desert, where it was very scorching, had to tear my skin and now this freezing place!' As you can see, I am very annoyed and am considering going back to my home with Jacket, and he might feel much happier then.

It takes quite a few months to reach home, but what can I do if I stop? I have nothing to do and have no protection either. But somehow, I manage to get there.

When Jacket sees me, he is over the moon with joy. He asks me questions about my journey. After staying in front of the heater, I answered all his questions about how tiring my trip was.

I realized that I can't find happiness in things or places but within myself when I feel at home and feel joy.
