My Visit to Ahmedabad: A Memorable Experience at the Sort My College Summit

On June 21st, I took a train to Ahmedabad, often referred to as the Manchester of India. I was heading there to attend the Sort My College  (SMC) Summit, one of the leading youth festivals that brings together young minds for discussions and brainstorming. The summit is hosted by my friend Daksh Kala, the founder of Sort My College.

I arrived in the city early in the morning during a refreshing downpour—the raindrops felt like a warm welcome from Ahmedabad itself. After reaching, I went to meet my sister at Gujarat University. She tied a rakhi on my wrist, which I believe would help me perform better at the event. We enjoyed breakfast together before heading to the venue.

The conference featured an exciting lineup of speakers and performers. We heard inspiring talks by RJ Krutarth, Rishabh Jain, Anand Kumar, and Arjun Vaidya. To lighten the mood after all the serious discussions, there was a fun stand-up comedy act by Shlok, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

On the sidelines of the event, I also had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people. We shared ideas, discussed our work, and I spoke about the Good Schools Alliance, trying to spread the word about our mission.

I want to extend my gratitude to Mr. Dutt for this wonderful opportunity. I’m thankful for the chance to learn, connect, and grow through this experience.

Good evening, sir; this is Tenzin Chonzom ✨

We did a lot for today's class, but what reflected in my mind was that happiness is the result and not a cause.

I want to write a short note on this because of a discussion we had in class. 

It depends on external things. Its result, which comes from within due to our kind works, gives happiness. 

* Life of Crescendo (reflection)

. Life is a mission, not a career

. It tells About what keeps people growing

. We learned about the six paths

       : happiness is the result, not the cause 

       : stress is not bad

       : Physical exercise is essential and good 

. If you enjoy

        : Cash doesn't last

        : Stay involved in work

        : Maintenance of a robust social network

. Anyone who keeps learning stays young 🌱

. Staying focused

. It's all recognition of the abundance of facts. 

*Creating Passion 

Passions are developed through emotions, mainly through activities that you find to be fun.

As mentioned by Amerdeep sir in a previous session, he remarked, "DON'T FOLLOW PASSION. CREATE YOUR OWN PASSION." he has motivated me through all aspects of problems with his meeting in the session.

    

* Leaving 2023 and moving to 2024 ( learning I did from My Good School in this passing year )

 . Breaking goals into smaller steps makes them more accessible for students to comprehend. As mentioned by Amerdeep, sir.

My Good School always taught me never to stop dreaming and to keep learning and improving my reading, writing, and listening skills.

A good school encourages the young minds of students and is filled with positive thoughts.

My School's Birthday - Anvesha Rana

 We all may be a different fish, but at Gyanshree School, we all swim together!

Today, April 15, is the day when Gyanshree was born. As our school completes its 9 years of excellence, we all celebrate its Founders Day. The School that started in 2014 with a fixed vision and mission is today a place where all children love to go. 

The vision of Gyanshree school was to prepare each student for a rapidly changing world by equipping them with critical thinking skills, a global perspective and respect for core values and the mission of the school was to ensure 'Effortless and Meaningful' learning. The qualities are inhabited by the teachers and the many students, who respect the school and share its spirit among themselves. 

As Gyanshree enters its 10th academic year, the school continues to excel and reach new heights. I have seen the school's growth from an early stage to what it is now, and the credit goes to every person associated with the school. So, Happy Birthday, Gyanshree!
