Friendship - Akshar Rajpurohit

Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people. Friendship is a more vital form of interpersonal bond than an association. Friendship has been studied in academic fields such as communication, sociology, social psychology, anthropology, and philosophy. Various educational theories of friendship have been proposed, including social exchange theory, equality theory, relational dialectics, and attachment styles.

Such characteristics include affection; kindness, love, virtue, sympathy, empathy, honesty, altruism, loyalty, mutual understanding and compassion, enjoyment of each other company, trust, and the ability to be oneself, express one's feelings to others and make mistakes without fear of judgement from the friend.

Beating The Odds - Shambhavi Nautiyal

My Opinion on the second chapter, 'Beating the Odds' from the Book 'Is your Child Ready to Face the World? by Dr Anupam Sibal'

I absolutely agree with the chapter and how it describes our behaviour and self-consoling excuses. This seems quite relatable as I have seen this same thing going all around me while growing up. It still has not stopped, and people still do it. I'm not going to lie; this chapter shall help other students and children become vigilant about how this habit of consoling ourselves of not achieving something for the reason that may not even affect us. Eventually resulting it becomes a hurdle in the path of success. I, too, used to do this often whenever I messed up and regretted my decision, but, in all honesty, I'll now try to not do that and handle the situation while just letting it go and doing my utmost.

This chapter showed aspects of different people's lives (such as Beethoven, Rolls Royce, Steven Spielberg, Jean- Dominique Bauby) with distinct bodily disabilities, which soon turned into their abilities, setting ideals for kids and many other aspirants. In my view, this chapter gives the message of believing in ourselves, letting go of the fears and negative possibilities, dreaming about whatever we want to be or wish to do, and just trying.

We should never think that we can't do something because of a bodily disability, financial condition, support system, misfortune, or anything we cannot change.

Thank you!

Honesty and Respect - Divyanshi Upadhyay

Honesty and Respect are existing in India till ancient times. Honest people are being respected by the public in the past. People were not only honest to each other, but they also respected each other and their ideas. Some examples of honesty are Raja Harishchandra and Yudhishthira (Also called Dharamraja ). Respect matters a lot to the ancient people. They respected their elders as well as youngsters.

With time, the meaning of honesty and respect has been changed very much. Today honesty has the same value for some people. In today's world, where crime is prevailing everywhere globally, some people have respect for honesty. Honesty pays, but one should have patience. Respect is like a give and takes matter. If you give someone respect, you will get the same respect in return.

Friendship - Laxman Singh

Laxman Singh
Friendship is a divine relationship. We don’t have similarity in our blood, but still, that person cares for us. Irrespective of all differences, a friend chooses you, understands you, and support you. Whenever you are in self-doubt or lacking confidence, talk to a friend, and your worry will surely go away.

A true friend will always want your happiness. A life without a good friend is merely empty. Honesty is the key factor to maintain the friendship forever. For understanding each other’s emotions, you have to be completely honest with each other. Patience and acceptance are also other factors for friendship to last long. Understanding the differences as well as accepting them is what a maturity factor in a friendship. Friendship will fulfill you with sweet memories that you can cherish for the rest of your life.

The unbounded love, as well as care, is what makes the relationship between two friends strong.
