Hindi Story: Bagh Raja by Ruskin Bond
The discussion on Bagh Raja made me think about how closely our lives are connected with nature. The story helped me look at the tiger not simply as a wild animal, but as a living being with its own needs, fears, instincts, and place in the natural world.
What stayed with me was the way human actions can disturb the natural balance. We often see animals from our own perspective without thinking about what they may be experiencing. The story made me reflect on the importance of coexistence rather than control.
It also connected beautifully with the idea of the life cycle—every living being has a role to play, and disturbing one part of nature can affect the larger ecosystem. As an educator, I feel that such stories allow us to help children develop empathy not only towards people but also towards all living beings.
For me, the biggest learning from Bagh Raja is simple: we are a part of nature, not separate from it. Respecting every form of life is essential for maintaining the balance of our world.
