Compassion - Avni Kochhar

Hi, My name is Avni Kochhar, and I have experienced Compassion many times. So let me share my understandings of what is Compassion.

Compassion is so valuable That nobody will ever forget the Compassion shown by you.

It is sporadic to find Compassion these days, So if we all show a step forward with Compassion, it makes a big difference. To me, Compassion is to Care, To share. It means caring for someone, and you share your Compassion with that person too. So even by one person, many people might learn to show Compassion.

I have learned so much about being a good human being.

Caring - Rishona Chopra

We all must have heard about Caring.

Caring is helping someone, right?

Yes, but we can do much more if we have a wide heart. We could heal emotions too. We should always do it with an open mind, dedication, and love when we do something. Similarly, when we care for someone, we should always do it with a kind heart because if we aren’t, then we aren’t caring, and maybe we are hurting them too.

Now I’d like to present a story on Caring.

Care but to make people strong

Once there used to live a boy who was always told the caring is sharing and one must care for others. He wondered why to care for others when we don’t want to? Why don’t we build them strong instead? If we keep helping them with every bit of thing, then they will be weak! This seemed like a silly idea to others, and it might seem to you too, but it’s actually right!!

Of course, we must help and care for people, especially friends but if we help them in every small thing things which they are capable of doing we are actually making them weak because, today we are helping them but not everybody will right and that way your friends might feel too tired to do a very simple work!!

The boy thought this, but others didn’t like his ideas. Some even started making fun of him! This made him really sad, and he stopped helping people. His mother seeing this, told him that it’s essential to help people. He told his mother his idea of caring. His mother said to him that it’s a good idea, but he should help people who need help and help them be emotionally intense.

He did as his mother said and helped himself be a stronger person and care for others!

Caring - Anisha Gaitonde

Caring is something that all of us experience at some point in our lives. Most of the time we do not see it or understand it. When our mothers cook yummy food for us despite their busy schedules when our grandparents ask us how we are feeling today when our friends ask ‘kaisi hai’ or ‘what’s up' when our fathers tell us not to ride a bicycle without a helmet – all of these are because they CARE about our well-being. Our response generally is ‘what’s the big deal?’ and we forget about it.

Well, one of my experiences where I felt very strongly that people CARED for me, was when I fractured my foot. In short, I had what the good doctor referred to as a ‘hairline fracture’ in my foot when I was dancing Kathak (of course, at the wrong speed and wrong technique) last Dussehra. The pain was unbearable, and I was extremely scared of how I was going to walk again (though it wasn’t that bad, then it was good either ๐Ÿ˜Š).

Apart from the physical pain, I was also quite depressed that I would not be able to dance for few weeks and that I would have to make a lot of adjustments (for example, preventing water from falling on the plaster). That is where my family members came to my rescue. My Mumma and Baba spent quite some time making sure I was able to move around, my grandparents kept me engaged in different discussions to forget the pain. My cousin Aashay played a lot of board games with me despite having a lot of homework ๐Ÿฅณ. Even my friends in school were very considerate and kept sharing the daily work and notes for the lectures that I could not attend due to doctor appointments.

When I recovered after three to four weeks, I realized how much everyone had CARED for me without expecting even a thank you from me. If you are one of the people who helped me last year, a big THANK YOU to you from me, and a SORRY as well if I did not tell you earlier
๐Ÿ˜“.

My Sweet Family - Mokshi Nagar

This is my family. I live in Lunawa. My family is a joint family. There are ten members in my family. My grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, uncle, aunt, two cousins, my younger brother and me. I call my grandma Dadi and grandpa as Dadu. I love my family very much. We help each other and take care of each other. I have made a family tree to show you, my family members. Family is like a tree that holds its branches as family members throughout its life. We learn values like caring, responsibility, being helpful to others etc. Life becomes easy and happy with the family.

Happiness - Chahna Gandhi

What does happiness mean to me?

Happiness to me is an important part of life, as it brings in positive vibes and makes one’s day better.

What makes me happy?

I would say there's nothing that makes me happy, nor I can’t list all of them. Here are a few:

 1. Being with friends: This always brings joy and cool vibes as the fun n frolic makes me happy.

 2. Music: Listening to music always helps me forget things and lifts up my mood, which obviously makes me happy “... and if it’s my genre, then it’s much fun.”

3. Being with family: Well! Who doesn’t like to be with family, share good and embarrassing memories, and laugh at them together?

4: Dance: Dance is one thing where my mind is totally on the beats and music. It takes over my body, refreshes it and helps me open up my mind to new ideas.

 How to pass on happiness?

There are a lot of ways by which you can either share or pass your happiness to others.  You can suggest ways of being happy. This can help them go through their hard times by creating their own happy zones. Another way of passing on happiness is to care for them. Help them in things they can’t do or need help. This will make them happy as they know that they can believe in you during their rough times.
