Tomoe Gakuen - Anvesha Rana

I wish I were a student at Tomoe,
so free and yet so connected,
I could have met the headmaster,
and made friends with Totto-Chan.

If I were a student at Tomoe,
I would have visited the Hot Spring,
while enjoying the new bling.

The Souvenir photo would have cracked me up,
and the Oops boy would have been a fun hub,
I really wish I were at Tomoe,
for it would be so lively.

If I were at Tomoe,
I would have learnt Eurythmics,
Though it would be funny to be so Rhythmical.

I do wish I were at Tomoe,
but I already have my own right here,
which is My Good School!

Courage - Vinki Srivastava

Vinki Shrivastava, VI,

Courage is an innate superpower that lives inside us and that feeds on "I can and I will ". We are born out of courage. All throughout our lives, we are led to believe how certain things are made or work.

People believe women are weak and vulnerable. Women also start thinking that they are soft and tolerate a lot. But one day, when a woman stands up for herself and says it loud and clear that 'No, I am not weak'. It's the hidden power of courage inside her, which wakes her up, and she believes that she can and she will.

We all take birth, but we are born as humans the day we show courage to change the world.

I like to read quotes of great leaders as it gives shape to my thoughts. I have fun playing games from Skating and Swimming to Hopscotch and Ludo as they are full of fun. I think little things in life give us the most joy. I also love learning about computer languages. Acting is my goal.

Bravery - Aanya Kumar

We often hear people complimenting us when we do something we are scared of. Sometimes they say, "Oh, look at you! You are so brave." or even "What a brave child you are!" Here, the vital question is, what is bravery?

When we have the courage and mindset of doing something that we think is impossible for us, we will be called brave... Certainly, we have so many stories of bravery shown by people from all over the world. As we are soon going to celebrate Republic Day, let me tell a brave step taken by the Panjabis in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre-

On 13th April 1919, many people gathered at Jallianwala Bagh for a peaceful meeting. There was only one exit of it. Along with his soldiers, General Dyer covered the exit and started an open fire. Many people were killed, while many jumped into the well. They thought they would rather die themselves than be killed by the Britishers. This incident came to be known as the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

Did you see how bravely they sacrificed to free us from the rule? Bravery will push your limits to be what you want to be.

Courage - Rishona Chopra

Based on the chapter It’s never too late, from Is Your Child Ready to face the world by
Dr Anupam Sibal

Sometimes when we have fear or are in a situation where we have options, one risky and the other an easy one. Here we have to display courage. Courage is being fearless, showing an end to fear and bringing in bravery. Of course, it is difficult, but that is what life is about. Taking risks and having new experiences.

Take the example of Dr Christiaan Barnard- a cardiac surgeon Dr Christiaan Barnard was an ambitious cardiac surgeon who started performing and studying cardiac surgeries. He started performing heart and lung transplants. He had a few cases where he could just make joy with his first successful surgery or put everything at stake. Here he took the risk and performed a successful surgery!

So to have courage, you just need to believe in yourself.
