Friendship - Samruddhi Patankar

Friendship is not always easy to get. Sometimes we need to achieve it. While making friends, we may get many difficulties but never give up. Always try and try. Everyone says try-try but never cry. So, I also needed to fight, and I achieved it, but sometimes that was so simple nobody could think.

Which time I fought and when I didn’t

  • When I wanted to make friends with Saanvi, I had to fight.
  • When I tried to make a friendship with Dhrit, that was very simple and easy.

I value their friendship, and that is why I tried.

My Imaginary Friend - Arav Agarwal

It is said, “A daily dose of daydreaming heals the heart, soothes the soul and strengthens the imagination.

An imaginary friend is an invisible friend we like to play with and who keeps us in the company. Having an imaginary friend enhances our creativity as we think of an imaginary friend.

My imaginary friend is my imaginary cricket bat. I talk to it, share my countless stories of success and failures with it and hold it tight when I need strength. It supports me in my matches and tells me to give my best. It also gives me hope in my sad times and builds my confidence. The best thing about my imaginary friend is that it listens patiently to all my sharing’s and is available whenever I need to talk. My imaginary friend is very special to me and is my best companion. If you have an imaginary friend, do share it with us.

Friendship - Arav Agarwal

As we are celebrating the value of Friendship at My Good School, I would like to share my experience of being a part of My Good School.

I have experienced that friendship at My Good School is learning, sharing and growing together. We meet every Sunday and together read a book, learn different life values from the book and share our reflections and experiences with each other experiencing the joy of reading, writing and speaking.

As part of an internship, we learn from each other by sharing our skills and being mentored by teachers from different schools all over India.

Yes, we are growing together at My Good School to become a better version of ourselves.

Thank you, My Good School, for this beautiful bond of friendship that you have created.

Teachers Travel With You All Your Life - Rishona Chopra

The chapter Teachers Travel With You All your life tells us how a teacher is a crucial factor in a child's success.

One poem in the book ' Tips & Tidbits for Parents and teachers' is about a teacher. She is a counsellor, police officer, travel agent, and many more things. After hearing this poem, I realized that this one simple word, 'teacher', means much more.

I, being a child, am not so sure about how teachers manage loads of work but am confident that they are indeed a mastermind. I have been taught by a few teachers that truly motivated me. What is so special about them is that they always find the good in a child and focus on growing that quality.

The chapter also highlighted that we shouldn't be dependent on teachers because the most outstanding teacher is our soul.

Friendship - Ushita Saxena

What is friendship? Friendship is something so complex it is hard to define! But, in simple words, friendship means “being friends”. It is essential, as having friends can prevent loneliness and sadness. Friends bring more happiness to our lives than most things do. It has an enormous impact on your mental health and happiness. Here is an example:

For 4 years, I had been with my old friends in school since K-G. We were best of friends. But when our classes changed, I felt very lonely and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, COVID- 19 had begun to spread, and we were all locked in our homes and had to start homeschooling and online classes. At first, I felt very weird. Soon, I had settled in and had many friends. I felt thrilled and joyous that at least I had friends. It has been 2 years since that happened, and now, we are closer than ever.

The value of friendship is so significant that without it, you would be unfortunate and unhappy for the rest of your life! And nobody wants to be lonely. It also has a substantial impact on your life. Friends prevent isolation and solitude and give you a chance to offer the company needed, too.

There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family.

Expressing Yourself - Rishona Chopra

Every day is a new day with new thoughts and feelings. Most of us feel that we should share them with someone. But with who? Some of us like writing or painting. The best way to express our day is with a journal. You can express your day and opinion through pictures or writing. If you are angry, you can even scribble on your diary to express your feelings, just don't tear the pages!

The perfect time to write a journal is at the end of the day, just before bed. I write a journal, at it is good to express your feelings. Although, I forget to write it sometimes! Sometimes, when I'm tired, I draw.

You don't need to have a proper diary, just take a piece of paper and vent out all your feelings. But then, when you have an excellent journal, and at the end of the week, you look at what you have written, you could reflect on your situations in a better way. I think expressing yourself by writing is much better because when you tell them with a person not necessary, they would actually understand your feelings, but that's just my way of doing it!
