Freedom - Hiyaan Shah

For me, absolute freedom is to be yourself. Childhood days are an essential part of life. But at this stage, parents keep the kids so occupied that we lose our freedom. But I am thrilled that my parents have balanced all my likes and the freedom to play and get down and run, which is my favourite. I make my friends run so much, and all get so tired that they sleep early at night on that particular day, and I will never forget this. One Freedom experience is I have shops below my house and whenever I am tempted or wish to buy something I ask my parents, and then I take little money from my savings and go and buy myself and show them. I permanently save cash and coins, which I find here and there in my wallet. You should enjoy your freedom and never hesitate to express your feelings as those who understand will never judge you, and those who believe will understand.

Freedom - Khushi Badgeri

Freedom is the power to act according to our own will. Freedom is expressing things. Children need the freedom to explore, imagine, create, grow and develop their inquisitiveness to acquire knowledge.

Freedom for me is dancing and singing. I can dance and sing freely for hours together. I enjoy my freedom in dreaming tomorrow. I aim to be a Doctor, but at the same time, I would like to be a good classical dancer and a good singer.

For me freedom means expressing myself, freedom to chase my dreams, freedom to believe and trust in myself, freedom to be there for my family, my friends, and society. Freedom to make mistakes and to learn from the mistakes done.

Freedom is responsibility!!

Freedom is motivation!!

Making Everyday A Celebration - Rishona Chopra

You can make each day a celebration by being happy and by being kind to others!!

We usually celebrate on special occasions like festivals, birthdays, anniversaries and more. I’m sure you love celebrating and even I do. But why? Now your answers could be the following:-

  • Get time to spend with your family

  • Get to watch TV

  • Eat tasty food

In the above examples you can see that in these celebrations you watch TV, eat tasty food etc. But is it necessary that in celebrations you need to watch all those TV shows and eat  unhealthy food? No. A celebration is something when you spend time with your families and be happy and be compassionate to people. So what do you think? Can you make each day a celebration? Yes you can. You can make each day a celebration by being happy and by being kind to others!!

So be grateful and thankful everyday and it is itself a celebration!

Life Goes On - Dhriti Sinharoy

Dhriti Sinharoy, IX-A, Ahlcon Public school
I'm very compassionate about reading books as they give me a sense of peacefulness, and writing poems is the easiest way to express my thoughts to people. I also find solitude in music and channel my emotions through painting.

LIFE GOES ON-

A year has passed by
in the blink of an eye.
Moments of sadness
And joy has flown by.

Life isn't easy
filled with struggles and despair,
But at the end of the gloomy tunnel
light is there.

Being as bold as brass
you have to find your way,
Through gloomy nights filled with tears
and the dawn of bright new days.

The worries and fears
that plague you each day,
in the long run
would merely fade away.

Just live a life that matters,
Be someone of great worth.
Love and be loved in return
and make your mark on planet Earth.

Find Your Calling - Arindita

Find Your Calling

Finding your calling is to find your true passion and skill. It can be anything, from dancing to studying etc. To find our calling, one needs to see what makes them happy. We often think certain jobs most likely give us success, which is not true. Forcing yourself to do something you do not like or wish to do will not bring you success. You need to find your calling or find the job that makes you happy, which feels like fun rather than work to you. Your calling can even be your hobby.

I enjoy doing many things, but my calling is contortion and gymnastics. It did take me time to find my true calling; in fact, I found it only 2 months ago. The topic also relates to "It's Never Too Late" because, at first, I thought that I was too old to start contortion. People who do it usually begin from a young age because our bones tend to be more flexible when we are younger. I wasn't very flexible, and in fact, I was lazy too when I started, but I did not give up. After 2 months of intense stretching, I finally reached a part of my goal. I was amazed at my transformation as there was a big difference from what I used to be to what I am now. But still, it wasn't enough, and there is a lot more I need to work on. I plan to continue this goal till I become an expert at it!

Freedom - Arav Agarwal

The secret of happiness is freedom. Freedom for me is playing cricket. I enjoy the freedom of playing cricket anytime and anywhere. Be it 5 AM or 1 PM in the night. Freedom lets me make space for my cricket pitch anywhere, at my home, and when I go down to play. I feel very joyful, happy, and energetic when I play cricket. I am sharing some of my pics playing anytime and anywhere.

Freedom - Rishona Chopra

Freedom as we know, of course, is the joy of feeling free & and doing what we want, to simply have freedom.

We can do what we want, but freedom has its own limits. It's not that we cut the wings on the bird, but it's like a summer adapted bird goes to Antarctica. Can it? It might die... Similarly, freedom is to have the
initial and foremost rights and along with that the rights to do good deeds, not bad ones, because whatever
we do your actions will come back to us.

Many of us are under control, mostly the unprivileged. They somehow are shone beneath us, and their freedom is taken away by their people, but one has the freedom to do anything, and no one can take it away.

So let us correctly use freedom!!
