Tenzin Chonzom pours out her heart for My Good School!

Good evening, sir; this is Tenzin Chonzom ✨

We did a lot for today's class, but what reflected in my mind was that happiness is the result and not a cause.

I want to write a short note on this because of a discussion we had in class.

It depends on external things. Its result, which comes from within due to our kind works, gives happiness.

* Life of Crescendo (reflection)

. Life is a mission, not a career

. It tells About what keeps people growing

. We learned about the six paths

: happiness is the result, not the cause

       : stress is not bad

: Physical exercise is essential and good

. If you enjoy

        : Cash doesn't last

        : Stay involved in work

: Maintenance of a robust social network

. Anyone who keeps learning stays young 🌱

. Staying focused

. It's all recognition of the abundance of facts.

*Creating Passion

Passions are developed through emotions, mainly through activities that you find to be fun.

As mentioned by Amerdeep sir in a previous session, he remarked, "DON'T FOLLOW PASSION. CREATE YOUR OWN PASSION." he has motivated me through all aspects of problems with his meeting in the session.

* Leaving 2023 and moving to 2024 ( learning I did from My Good School in this passing year )

. Breaking goals into smaller steps makes them more accessible for students to comprehend. As mentioned by Amerdeep, sir.

My Good School always taught me never to stop dreaming and to keep learning and improving my reading, writing, and listening skills.

A good school encourages the young minds of students and is filled with positive thoughts.

Thank you, sir.

What Is Age! And many more - Sunbeam School & Hostel Lahartara

WHAT IS AGE!

My life is still valuable even if I cannot help others. I can explore new hobbies, enjoy moments with family, and learn exciting things. Being kind to myself matters. I can find joy in little things and create happiness within and for others. My worth isn't just about helping others but embracing who I am.
- Anmol Kashyap VIII B

Oneness In Diversity
1. Age is just a number. If you dare to do work, which means that even if you are 80 years old and sitting at home, which makes you feel bored and want to do something, then age does not matter.
2. "What is my life if I am no longer useful to others?". This means we should always help others if we can do that and relieve our lives in others with compassion.
3. Anyone who stops learning is old, while one who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in your life is to keep your mind young.
- Mridul Maheshwari IX-D

In the 21st century, religion is not just a path to follow; it is an agenda to cause trouble for the world. In the 15th century, Guru Nanak Ji travelled half of Asia and gave his own philosophy of oneness in diversity. He talked to Muslims, Christians and every religion, and still, after the gap of six centuries, the Muslims of Afghanistan remember and respect his ideology.
- Shaurya Chaturvedi VIII-B

To maintain a tricky balance.
Money is not bigger than life, and it's an opportunity to create has no money; it's an opportunity to make meaning. The worst invention is money.
The barter system was the best as it exchanged love.
So we should maintain a balance between our work life and our personal life.
Power should not be a thing to curse but to cure others.
Keep trying many things as we don't know the emergence of anything in life.
Because our exceptions have no bounds.
-By Animesh Kashyap Class VIII-B
.
Listening comes before speaking.
By listening to others, we gain a deeper understanding of their perspective and discover the best way to deliver the message we need our audience to hear. Guru Nanak says that deep listening opens sensitivity and gives us knowledge. Doing this will allow us to consciously shape our destiny, a fundamental human capacity. It is not a small thing. It is a state in which we exist in a creative polarity with our own infinite self and God.

PURVEYORS OF HOPE

A WHOLE STACK OF MEMORIES NEVER EQUALS LITTLE HOPE.

HOPE ENDS FEAR IN YOUR HEART, AND WHEN WE DO THE BAD THINGS, THEY SOMETIMES BECOME UNBEARABLE UNTIL HOPE MAKES THEM DISAPPEAR IT IS THE ONE THING THAT KEEPS US GOING WHEN TIMES GET TOUGH AND ROUGH. IT IS SOMETHING WE NEED TO FOCUS ON, AND WHEN WE DO BAD THINGS, THEY SOMETIMES BECOME UNBEARABLE. HOPE MAKES THEM DISAPPEAR, AND WHEN WE DO BAD THINGS, THEY SOMETIMES BECOME UNBEARABLE UNTIL HOPE MAKES THEM DISAPPEAR.

A GOOD TEACHER CAN INSPIRE HOPE, IGNITE THE IMAGINATION, AND STILL A HOPE OF LEARNING.

Understanding - Arfa Khan

Understanding is something without which you can’t be a better human being. It is the first step to becoming more sympathetic and caring to others. To have better relationships, you need to understand the other personUnderstanding the other person’s feelings and perspective is fundamental for developing our emotional intelligence (EQ). It is essential to understand other people because it helps us respond appropriately.

We have experienced a lack of understanding at some point in our lives and had its effects play on us later, like arguing with our parents, friends, etc. We all want to be understood, but most of the time, our expectations aren’t met; that’s because it’s rare that anyone understands others, and that is mainly because it takes effort and energy to understand people, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t.

If we don’t understand one another, then we continue to have our beliefs as our priority, have regular fights, and have no problems getting solved. Misunderstanding is also very dangerous; it leads to hatred, which is very nasty.

Misunderstandings ruin relationships no matter how strong they are; a relationship that takes time can be destroyed by just one misunderstanding. To avoid that, we simply need to listen and not judge quickly.

Understanding is vital and sometimes complex if it’s something new to you, but listening is the most straightforward way to start.

Coffee With The Coach: Love Goes on - Anvesha Rana

Today We Talk About How Love Goes On.
We all love our family, friends, and teachers, but that is when we are alive. We live and love but do we ever worry about being forgotten after we die?

All throughout our life, we are involved with so many people in different ways, and after all, love is how you stay alive, even after you are gone. After a dear one passes, we may hear their voice when we are back home and all alone; that is love. If we can hear their words, they are not gone. Just listen to their call, and they will be there.

Making people feel welcome is another way of love. Only when we believe in being fully present can we love and let love. When we talk to someone, we should focus only on what is happening between us. We should not think about what someone said last week or what is coming up next Friday. If we want to love and wish for others to love us, we should live in the moment now.

Learning to pay attention is an important way of love. So many people are always self-absorbed in their lives; their eyes glaze over if you speak for more than thirty seconds. They already have something else in their mind - a friend to call, a fax to send, work to do. They only snap back to full attention when you finish talking, at which point they say "Uh-huh" or "Yeah, really" and fake their way back to the moment.

Part of the problem is that everyone is in such a hurry. People haven't found meaning in their lives, so they are running all the time looking for it. They think of the next car, the next house, the next job. They find those things empty, too, and they keep running. Once you start running, it's hard to slow down, but it's not impossible.

We are great at small talk: "What do you do?" "Where do you live?" But really listening to someone- without trying to sell them something, pick them up, recruit them or get some status in return - how often do we get this anymore?

So to be loved, we first need to learn to love

The Reading Session - Rishona Chopra

Every Sunday at 11 AM, the reading session is a fascinating and unique place to be. Even though we could read the books we are reading in the session at home too, reading in front of a group of people is just so different. It helps improve fluency in reading, develops better pronunciation, and everything seems so much more fun! Even listening to other students and teachers read is enriching.

I am still not sure what attracts me to join this reading session, but I feel that joining this session just makes my day!
