Friendship - Arjun Verma

Friendship is one of the things that is very nice,

And it also doesn’t have a price,

If you have a friend in your land,
He will definitely lend a hand,

So, everyone, make a friend,
They will be someone on whom you can depend.

The unprivileged - Rishona Chopra

Having trust,
And create a new bond,
And respond,
Is simply to adjust,

To the silent cries,
And let them rise,
They shall know that they are worth,
They are here on this Earth,

To create a future,
They don’t need a ruler,
They are much more than we think,
But we make them shrink!

Wonder who ‘they’ are in this poem? They are the unprivileged who are shown useless from their looks and way of living, but they are, after all, humans, suitable? They have taken birth on this Earth so they have as much right as we do. We have ignored their silent cries even knowing that they can change the world with a bit of education. We just need to trust them.

Friendship - Arnav Chawla

Once I was walking on the road, I saw a beggar. Out of curiosity, I started noticing his lifestyle. He slept on cardboard, he didn’t have many clothes, and I could feel his loneliness. I asked him if he had any friends or relatives to talk to. Surprisingly, he didn’t know the meaning of friendship! I told him that the importance of this term is a friendly relationship where people are friendly and care for each other. He happily agreed to be my friend. After that, we both used to talk. I managed to give him a job in my office as an assistant, and a year later he became the manager! We are still friends and shall always be.

Never see how rich or poor a person is; see their heart. They may also think that I should have someone to talk to, play with, and share my feelings. Just like that beggar, oh sorry, the manager needed a friend.

Friendship - Janya Mathur

My best friends are trees. My friend the tree helps me in many things, such as giving me oxygen, food, furniture and shelters for my other friends - the animals.

One day I went on a trip with my family. As it was very sunny, I found a tree and told my father to take a rest under the tree, but suddenly I saw my animal friends! I saw monkeys and birds, so we gave them some food.

I have two more friends; they are Aryama and Aarohi. One day I went for a picnic with my friends and family, including Aryama and Aarohi. I was walking on the path, and suddenly a stone appeared, but I didn't see it, and I slipped off. Aryama turned, picked me up and then she called my mother.

Aarohi, on the other hand, had helped me when I was in school. Three years ago, I couldn't tie my shoe, so Aarohi came and said, 'let me help you, then she helped me. These two friends of mine are beautiful, strong, brave, truthful and sincere.

Friendship is lovely, so tell your friends that you are precious!

Thank you!!!

Happiness with a book - Rishona Chopra

A charming, intelligent and sweet girl lived in a beautiful
village. She had many friends, and that was because she was so kind and gentle, and whenever her friends needed her, she was always there, whatever the circumstances. She did not mind if her friends did not help her. On every sad occasion, she always found happiness in it.

Her favourite hobby was reading, but she lived all alone! She could not buy books. Sometimes, her friends would let her borrow their books; someday, she would earn money and buy them. When she was roaming in the village garden, something caught her eye. She did not know what it was, but she ran in that direction where she saw it. She ran with all her might and finally reached there and guess what she saw, nothing but a book!!! She was so happy she started to dance with sheer delight! That was the happiest day of her life. She is still reading the book! (It was tremendous indeed)

You must be wondering what is so special about a book? Well, no matter how bored you are or how sad you are, reading a book takes you to another world of imagination or takes you to see the sights of reality. So read a book whenever you can as books are probably your best friend.

Friendship - Rishona Chopra

Friends are companions for life, a family that we choose for ourselves. It's, of course, essential to building a good relationship with them, right?

Some of us might look at friendship as a bond that we share with our best friends, but it is not just a relationship that we build with our friends but with everyone around us.

It implies a friendly and compassionate attitude towards all, and it's essential to have good social skills. Now I would like to share a story about friendship.

Once I saw a young girl walking across the street. I waved to her, and she waved back at me. I could feel that she was timid. I walked up to her and asked her if she would like to be friends with me. She was very nervous and mumbled, '‘Yes." I didn't understand her behaviour but was friendly with her. Soon, we became good friends. We played, we helped each other. I never saw her mother or any of her family members around, but she looked happy when she played and talked to me.

For a long time, I never really asked about her parents. But one day, I finally asked her if her parents were around so that our parents could meet up. She frowned. After a deep breath, she told me, "I don't have any parents. I live with my uncle and aunt. They are very busy people. But the way you have always been there for me didn't let me feel lonely.' I was taken aback by that response. I hugged her and told her, 'Thanks for being my friend too'.

So having a friendship with everyone is a gift for all. Did you see how that little girl felt so much happier after having me as her friend? Friendship helps us build better connections for life and gives us reasons to smile every day!

Determination - Rishona Chopra

Determination is the quality to do something and the ability to face all obstacles bravely without giving up. It enables you to achieve the goal you have set, no matter how hard.

Steve Jobs (CoFounder Apple) was fired from his own company but still managed to fulfil his dreams. We can learn from his life how determination can help us achieve the impossible. I would like to share a short story about validating my point.

When I was in medical college, I usually studied while my other friends were busy partying. I felt pressured to have fun with them instead of learning. Although partying looked fun, I knew if I didn't study, I wouldn't achieve my goal, and if I failed, I would be disheartened, and my dreams wouldn't be fulfilled. I ignored them. It was difficult. It was soon time for my final paper. Luckily, I did well! My hard work had paid off. If I had spent my time partying like the other students, I would have indeed failed.

And this is how determination allows us to fuel our dreams!

Handling Pressure - Anusha Jain

HANDLING PRESSURE

It’s no pressure. It’s a responsibility we put it on ourselves

-Abby Wambach

Wambach’s quote describes pressure in my life. My parents are very understanding and supportive. They never forced me to score good marks or burn myself for winning. But, I always tried to excel and made them proud. If I failed, which I did many times, I would get upset. I don’t remember that my parents ever hit or scolded me for not securing full marks. ‘‘Better luck next time!’’ they would say.

For instance, even after working very hard, I had done terribly wrong in an exam. I cried and was disappointed. My mother gave me her comforting smile and encouraged me to try next time. This has taught me that if we don’t put unnecessaPressureure on children, they will take responsibility and give their best.
