Friendship -Tanvi Kumar

The best gift is to have an honest friend.

Friendship in my life means a person’s trust, love and affection for another person. Friends are our gift from God. Our family, especially, siblings are our best friends. A true friend always helps us without expecting the same from us. Friends accept us as we are; they don’t want to change our nature.

I want to share some experiences with my friends –

·       While I was new to Gyanshree School, I made new friends. They never let me feel new; they always talked to me and made me feel comfortable.

·       When I was in DPS Indra Puram, I had a lot of friends; we visited each other’s house for birthday parties and had a great time.

I want to share a poem –

Friends

Friends are lovely,

Never let us feel lonely,

Sometimes they tell in maths how to solve wisely,

Sometimes they tell the experiment nicely,

Sometimes they tell how to dance,

And always give us their chance,

Because they are friends,

A lot of time with us they spend.

Friendship - Vinki Srivastava

Friendship is a ship that helps us cover long distances through the turbulence of our life. Friends don't judge each other; they always stay together. Happiness is having friends with the same mental disorders as yours. A true friend is one soul in two bodies. Tag your real friends, make friends who force you to level up. Friendship is not a big thing, but a million tiny items become a friendship. Friendship is the best thing because every relationship starts after being friends only. You love your mother, father, and teachers because they are your best friends before being a parent or a teacher.

I like to read quotes of great leaders as they shape my thoughts. I have fun playing games from Skating and Swimming to Hopscotch and Ludo as they are full of fun. I think little things in life give us the most joy. I also love learning about computer languages. Acting is my goal.

Friendship - Aryama Shukla

Life is a long journey, and your friends make it more cheerful. When you're sad, your friends make you smile, laugh and giggle and make your life fun. They help you to avoid obstacles in life. They support you when you are in need, and you should too. Not only that, but they also play with us and encourage us to do the right thing. We are stronger together. Some of my good friends are Janya, Mishika and Aarohi. They have the power to make me happy just by talking to me!

Besides humans, I have other friends too, some of them are animals and books. When I am in my house, I usually get bored. One day,  when I went to visit my big brother. I saw a dog !! He was named Jacky, and he was white in colour. I loved to play with him. He was very soft. Even though I cannot understand his language(he can't understand my language too :) ), my younger brother, my elder brother and I always understood him. I loved to go to my big brother's house to meet Jacky from then onwards.

Let me tell you a small story about how books became my friends. I was getting bored one day, so I asked my mother, "What should I do, Mom". My mother said, "Beta read books. They will become your best friends, and you will never get bored throughout your life". After some days I tried to read a book, slowly I started reading at a faster pace, and from then the journey of reading books started. I now love reading books :). That is how books became my friends.

Friendship - Mishika Baweja

Hello! Today I am going to talk about friendship. Everyone likes to make friends. We talk, dance and play with friends. I have many friends in my grade 3 class like Aryama, Janya, Amina and Manya. My best friend is Aryama. She is very kind to me. I, being her good friend, have helped her many times. Let me share my experience.

One day I was walking down the stairs, suddenly, I fell down from the fifth stair. I injured my leg. It was paining, and Aryama saw me on the ground; she got to know what had happened. She helped me stand on my feet. This is how my friend helped me in school.

I also talk with my other friends, Janya, Manya, Aryama and Aarohi. I love to speak with them because they are my good friends. I even remember when we used to get lunch in school, we shared lunch with each other. That was my best experience ever with friends sharing our tiffins.

My teacher in grade 3, Nishita ma’am, is also my friend because she is very friendly and makes us laugh a lot. We enjoy her classes a lot. Thank you to all my friends for being with me.

Friendship - Anika Mishra

Hello everyone, today I am going to tell you about my friends. My friends are Advita Priyadarshini and Udaytam. We all are best friends, and we talk to each other. Advita helped me understand a topic taught in class, Priyadarshini taught me how to cook, and Udaytam helped me learn how to ride a bicycle.

Apart from them, my friends are trees, as they give us lots of things like vegetables, fruits, oilseeds and wood. We make oil from oilseeds, eat fruits and vegetables, and from wood, make furniture like beds, tables, and chairs.

My friends are also animals. They are adorable. I always wanted a pet. There are lots of pet animals like cats and dogs. They also help us like a cat eats rats so there are no rats in our house and dogs help us when we are out and a thief or stranger comes, it scares them away.

I like my friends as they help me a lot, especially in tough times, and if they need me, I will help them too.

Friendship - Yashraj Sharma

“A friend is someone who knows all about you and still understands you.” - Elbert Hubbard.

Friendship! If someone asks me about the most important people in my life, I will say my family and friends because these two relationships have always kept me optimistic in my unhappy times and taken care of me.

But, unfortunately, in today’s times, our non-verbal communication has gained much ground. Now, priorities have changed to some extent. Sometimes, things commonly make us fume. When we send our best friend a message through Whatsapp, they have seen it, and we have the double blue ticks to prove it. Yet, they haven’t replied.

A sense of hesitation and discomfort starts to tingle in us. We start thinking before sending texts to our friends. We start overthinking and thoughts like, will our friendship grow after this or will they not talk to us? Start coming to our mind. But my experience with friends is thankfully different !!

A wise saying says no one knows the importance of water until the well dries; this applies to friends also. We never realise the value of friends until we are separated.

Before this pandemic, during offline classes, we met our friends daily, we used to chit-chat with each other, work as a team, exchange our thoughts and views etc. Though we were good friends for a long time, I never realised that is such a strong bond. So during this time, we are connecting through video calls on weekends. It refreshes my mind. I feel elated and ecstatic. It would be true to say that friends are valuable treasures of life.

I pray to God and look forward to meeting my friends in person very soon.

Friendship - Aarohi Bumtariya

Hmmm, what does friendship mean? Let me tell you what it does. Friendship means making close friends. For example, I have a friend named Amayra. She had been only in pre-nursery with me. I am in grade 3 now. Still, she is my friend. That is called true friendship.

I have lots of other friends too. There are trees, plants, birds and animals. All help us in one or the other way. We also help them. This tells us that in friendship, one must help the other.

That’s yet not done. I also have Aryama and Janya. They have helped me many times. Friendship does not only mean helping each other but also having fun. Janya, Aryama, Amayra and I went to a resort to stay together as well!!! Not only that but we went cycling together in Biodiversity Park too! It was fun.

May it be the sun, the moon, the clouds, nature or children. They are all my friends. I love and care for all of them.

Friendship - Anusha Jain

Today I am expressing my thoughts upon something which adds spices to life; it's a blessing that can make us the happiest and most successful people in the world.

I'm talking about friendship and friends.

Friends at the flowers in the garden of life. Beginning with the seed of trust, nurturing laughter and tears, growing into loyalty and love. True friendship isn't about being inseparable, it's being separated, and nothing changes.

The extraordinary friendship of Krishna Ji and Sudama Ji tells us the true meaning and value of friendship in this world. After numerous years, the entire incident when Sudama met Krishna is very touching and unforgettable. Even today, once we remember those times, we have tears in our eyes thinking of the bond, the love that the two of them had for each other.

"Real friends are the ones you can count on no matter what. The ones who go into the forest find you and bring you home. And real friends never have to tell you that they are your friends."

Friendship - Samruddhi Patankar

Friendship is not always easy to get. Sometimes we need to achieve it. While making friends, we may get many difficulties but never give up. Always try and try. Everyone says try-try but never cry. So, I also needed to fight, and I achieved it, but sometimes that was so simple nobody could think.

Which time I fought and when I didn’t

  • When I wanted to make friends with Saanvi, I had to fight.
  • When I tried to make a friendship with Dhrit, that was very simple and easy.

I value their friendship, and that is why I tried.

As we are celebrating the value of Friendship at My Good School, I would like to share my experience of being a part of My Good School.

I have experienced that friendship at My Good School is learning, sharing and growing together. We meet every Sunday and together read a book, learn different life values from the book and share our reflections and experiences with each other experiencing the joy of reading, writing and speaking.

As part of an internship, we learn from each other by sharing our skills and being mentored by teachers from different schools all over India.

Yes, we are growing together at My Good School to become a better version of ourselves.

Thank you, My Good School, for this beautiful bond of friendship that you have created.

Friendship - Ushita Saxena

What is friendship? Friendship is something so complex it is hard to define! But, in simple words, friendship means “being friends”. It is essential, as having friends can prevent loneliness and sadness. Friends bring more happiness to our lives than most things do. It has an enormous impact on your mental health and happiness. Here is an example:

For 4 years, I had been with my old friends in school since K-G. We were best of friends. But when our classes changed, I felt very lonely and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, COVID- 19 had begun to spread, and we were all locked in our homes and had to start homeschooling and online classes. At first, I felt very weird. Soon, I had settled in and had many friends. I felt thrilled and joyous that at least I had friends. It has been 2 years since that happened, and now, we are closer than ever.

The value of friendship is so significant that without it, you would be unfortunate and unhappy for the rest of your life! And nobody wants to be lonely. It also has a substantial impact on your life. Friends prevent isolation and solitude and give you a chance to offer the company needed, too.

There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family.

Friendship - Asmi Patankar

Friendship is the real fantasy. Not everyone has a friend but deserves to have one or more. A friend is like a partner in crime from everyone’s viewpoint. You can’t choose who you are, but you can pick your friends. Finding a perfect friend is like a scavenger hunt sometimes, but it is always worth it. After all, there are friends, and there is a family, and there are friends who become family.

Friendship - Paavni Gupta

Friendship is just not shaking hands and saying, "will you be my friend ".Friendship is to help, stay together, play together and support each other. For some people, friendship is just for their advantage. I had one friend who used to play with me only because I had many toys, lovely jewellery and many more things. She used to come to my home and start taking out my items. I told her not to do it. She went home and stopped talking to me. Then I made another friend who did become my friend, not because of the things I had but because I was friendly and polite to her.

Friendship is essential for us. We always should be friends because of our personality, not because of our things.

Friendship - Aanya Kumar

We all have friends, and among them, some friends are very close to us, and we love calling them our best friends. But what exactly does friendship mean? Friends make us feel secure, comfortable and we feel happy to be the way we are. We are not hesitant while sharing our secrets or emotions with them and make them our confidantes. What should we do to strengthen our bond with our friends? We should be loyal to our friends. Also, a friend should not feel insecure with us. The responsibility of maintaining our friendship is not only on us, but it is a relationship based on mutual trust and respect. Friendship is a virtue to be learnt because true friends are always there by our side, supporting us.

Friendship - Avantika Subramanian

Friendship is a connection between two people who would do everything to protect you and have fun with you, and it makes you feel better. I have experienced something similar. I was coming to school when some kids made fun of me. I started crying because I was pretty sensitive back then. I went to my class, put on my bag and put my head down. My friend noticed this and told my teacher. She told me that my name was unique and there was no reason that I should cry. That made me feel better. I told my parents that this had happened. They told me that it was okay and I shouldn’t cry. I am speaking about this story because my friend noticed that I was crying. Your friend will help you too because they are our friends and help us when needed. In conclusion, we must cherish the Friendship we have with people who make us laugh and help us when in need.

If you have a friend in your land,
He will definitely lend a hand,

Friendship - Arnav Chawla

Once I was walking on the road, I saw a beggar. Out of curiosity, I started noticing his lifestyle. He slept on cardboard, he didn’t have many clothes, and I could feel his loneliness. I asked him if he had any friends or relatives to talk to. Surprisingly, he didn’t know the meaning of friendship! I told him that the importance of this term is a friendly relationship where people are friendly and care for each other. He happily agreed to be my friend. After that, we both used to talk. I managed to give him a job in my office as an assistant, and a year later he became the manager! We are still friends and shall always be.

Never see how rich or poor a person is; see their heart. They may also think that I should have someone to talk to, play with, and share my feelings. Just like that beggar, oh sorry, the manager needed a friend.

Friendship - Janya Mathur

My best friends are trees. My friend the tree helps me in many things, such as giving me oxygen, food, furniture and shelters for my other friends - the animals.

One day I went on a trip with my family. As it was very sunny, I found a tree and told my father to take a rest under the tree, but suddenly I saw my animal friends! I saw monkeys and birds, so we gave them some food.

I have two more friends; they are Aryama and Aarohi. One day I went for a picnic with my friends and family, including Aryama and Aarohi. I was walking on the path, and suddenly a stone appeared, but I didn't see it, and I slipped off. Aryama turned, picked me up and then she called my mother.

Aarohi, on the other hand, had helped me when I was in school. Three years ago, I couldn't tie my shoe, so Aarohi came and said, 'let me help you, then she helped me. These two friends of mine are beautiful, strong, brave, truthful and sincere.

Friendship is lovely, so tell your friends that you are precious!

Thank you!!!
