Friendship - Khushi Badgeri

Friendship is a state of trust where two friends spend time talking and knowing each other. Friendship is an important relationship in everyone's life. It means understanding, forgiveness, growing together, sharing, and keeping secrets. Mainly it also needs to have lots of patience.

For me, my true friendship is with my books and nature. I love to see the beauty of nature and write its beauty in my book. I love to plant seeds and see their different stages of growth. I can talk to them
while watering or being around them. Plants can listen to you and feel your touch. You have to preserve nature. It's our responsibility in friendship. The more you plant trees and take care of nature there will be greenery everywhere which will help our ecosystem.

The Annual Day At School - Rishona Chopra

Every school has an annual day, the most memorable, exciting day. The Annual Day showcases the effort by the students (Shreeyans in Gyanshree School).

We have numerous events on an annual day. Last time in 3rd grade, I was selected in theatre and the lead role! I was super nervous, but at the same time very happy. Due to lockdown, we could not celebrate Annual Day physically but did it online, but honestly, it wasn't that fun. When we dressed up for a dress rehearsal, all the girls were in the washroom showing each other's dresses and helping tie their hair. When teachers used their lipstick and put it on students, so much fun, although I am allergic to lipstick!

Now an Annual online day is not that fun! The excitement isn't that much, and the fun is definitely less.

An important part was mentioned in the book called 'self-esteem'. Even our Principal ma'am shared it in her assembly!

Self-esteem is self-respect. How we feel for ourselves. When we ask our parents and teachers if they are proud of us when we achieve something, we should instead ask ourselves.

The Annual Day is also a time to show our skill and have some fun! At first, I was so nervous, even though I was voicing the leading role in the play, that I felt like not doing it! But then that was my area of interest, and I had so much fun after that.

I miss my school and want to go to school, be with my friends and teachers, and physically participate in the Sports Day and Annual Day.

Autobiography of a football - Rishona Chopra

Hi! I am a football.. hey, not so quick, don't kick me! So I am a ball, you know, round in shape. I have orange and black patches on my skin. I have a very, very sad life. Let me tell you about it.

People keep kicking me, again and again, and they (sobs) find it fun! Can you believe that, so cruel? I have never done anything wrong in my life. But I still get the punishments. I am truly innocent! I am not bad at all! It all started when I was born. They started kicking me the very day I was born. No one has ever loved me.

I have got so many kicks that I am used to them, so I decided that life is a life. We had to go with it, so I happily enjoyed kicking and cheering the football teams.

Well, that is it; I hope you give me a break and stop kicking me! It would be a huge favour!

Gratitude - Aanya Kumar

Gratitude is a life-changing act of kindness. We should be thankful for all we have. There are some less-fortunate people who don’t even have blankets to wear in the cold weather in winters. It is believed that if we thank for something even before having it, God will be kind enough to grant us the same. One incident stated by Doctor Sibal is of a girl who was the part of a project he organized.

The girl got to know that the winner would get a Blackberry Phone. She stated the same to Dr. Sibal. The doctor had finished reading the famous book ‘THE MAGIC’ by Rhonda Byrne. He told her if she thanked for it before-hand she surely will win it. Before the lucky-draw the girl told the doctor that she had thanked God many times for the phone and hoped to win it. She finally was declared as the winner.

So, let us take the oath to thank God for all we have got because  gratitude is a vital virtue for a successful life.
